Meaning print: The wolf is revered by the Huichol for his wisdom. Rarely seen in the Huichol sierra, wolves are kept in the most secluded parts of the forest, away from roads and communities. Many Huichol believe their ancestors were wolves and many Huichol shamans seek the direction of the wolves in their quest for knowledge.
It is said that there are shamans who turn into wolves. This carved beads coated piece represents the magical aspects of the wolf. Peyote in the OCIC and head, the light in front deer, kills corn on the crest of OCIC and guardians scorpions along with butterflies, flowers and crabs, show the harmony between strength and intelligence of this animal as a guide spiritual.
